Sixwings is a popular, growing fast-food and cafe chain in Abuja, Nigeria, known for its budget-friendly Nigerian and international fast food like burgers, shawarma, fried rice, and milkshakes, emphasizing casual dining and serving popular spots in areas like Gwarinpa and Wuse. Established in 2020, they aim to be a foodservice leader with multiple brands, offering accessible meals, often with combos and deals, in a relaxed setting, though service speed can vary.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Wuse / Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats.
  • Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans and places in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner.
  • Cleans, sweeps, wipes down, all general dining, kitchen, or storage areas (in some cases), spike rooms, and equipment all floors.
  • May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, extract, wax, buff, vacuums, all types of floors.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of personal work area, entire kitchen, serving line, dining room, lunch room and dish pit area.
  • Washes pots, dishes, glasses, cups and all other kitchen equipment after each meal and as needed.
  • Assists with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out method (FIFO).
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen/dining room floor after each meal.
  • Assist to prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
  • Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demand.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Monitor food portions and minimize waste.
  • Ensure kitchen tools, utensils, and appliances are properly used and maintained.
  • Work efficiently during peak service hours to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures.

Requirement

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications. 

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
