Sales Force Consulting – Our client is a major iron-rod, steel dealership company with factory headquarter locatedin Iyana Ipaja Lagos Statebut with majordealersand other outlets in key cities of Nigeria.
They are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Truck Driver
Location: Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Interview Mode: Physical
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and speed limits to transport goods.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to check oil, fuel, and mechanical systems, reporting any issues for maintenance.
- Oversee or assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and waybill manifests.
- Plan efficient routes, accounting for traffic and mandatory rest breaks.
- Update the management and customers on delivery statuses and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSC qualification
- Minimum of ten years work experience in similar capacity
- Ability to drive trucks or buses
Other Qualities:
- High level organization and planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills.
- Strong ethical and moral values.
- Good time management.
Skill Set:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Attention to details
- Technical acumen
- Initiative
