Erkang Pharmaceuticals is a multinational manufacturer of pharmaceutical products starting up in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. Erkang Pharmaceutical is one of the largest manufacturers of Large Volume Parenterals (Infusion) and other products in the world.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Ilorin, Kwara 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Repair: Installing, repairing, and maintaining wiring, lighting, control systems, and electrical components.
  • Technical Planning: Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying electrical malfunctions and repairing them efficiently.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Testing: Using testing devices like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to ensure safe, proper operation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Inspecting electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
  • Licensure: Valid electrician license (Journeyman or Master).
  • Education: Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program and/or technical school training.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical circuits, circuitry, and materials, industrial electrical installations experience.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
  • Physical Stamina: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision work.
