Alson Logistics, a logistics company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to designated locations, including interstate travel routes.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in line with agreed schedules and client expectations.
• Provide a professional, courteous, and customer-focused experience at all times.
• Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and handling of luggage where necessary.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented vehicle for all client trips.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Plan and follow efficient routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and travel distance.
• Maintain clear communication with the operations team regarding trip status, delays, or changes.
• Ensure the safety and security of clients throughout the journey at all times.
• Handle client interactions with discretion, respect, and confidentiality.
• Monitor personal alertness and fitness, especially during long-distance or interstate journeys.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues immediately to management.
• Comply with all interstate travel protocols, documentation, and security requirements where applicable.
