We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Research and Development Officer (FMCG)

Location: Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Are you passionate about beverage formulation and product development? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented R&D Officer to join our team in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop bench-top formulations (carbonated drinks, flavored water, syrups, juice & dairy beverages)
  • Maintain accurate formulation logs, trial reports & raw material records
  • Support NAFDAC registration documentation
  • Conduct shelf-life and stability studies; update SOPs & product specifications
  • Test and evaluate new raw materials
  • Collaborate with QA team on product complaints
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the R&D lab.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in Food Science or related fields
  • 2 – 5 years FMCG experience (beverage industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of formulation and product development processes
  • Proficiency in laboratory practices & equipment handling
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N160,000 monthly.
