We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recovery Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Recovery Manager is responsible for managing the bank’s delinquent loan portfolio, driving effective collections and recovery strategies, and minimizing credit losses.
  • The role focuses on reducing Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and Non-Performing Loans (NPLs), while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining positive customer engagement where possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recovery strategies for overdue loans
  • Manage and supervise recovery teams and field collectors
  • Drive collections and recovery performance across all loan segments
  • Oversee legal recovery and repossession processes
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide recovery reports
  • Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Operations teams

  • Recovery Rate
  • Reduction in PAR & NPL
  • Amount Recovered vs Target
  • Cost of Recovery

Requirements

  • 7–10 years experience in credit/recovery (microfinance or banking) in Recovery
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of CBN regulations and lending practices

Salary
N800,000 – N1,000,000 / month.
