We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Open Market Representative (OMR)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Open Market Representative (OMR) to drive sales, visibility, and distribution of the across traditional trade outlets (open markets, kiosks, neighborhood stores) and modern trade channels (supermarkets and retail chains).
  • The ideal candidate must have strong market knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for achieving sales targets in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and achieve assigned targets within designated territories
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising across all outlets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and store managers
  • Identify and onboard new customers in both traditional and modern trade channels
  • Execute in-store promotions and trade activation initiatives
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and provide market intelligence
  • Ensure timely order collection, delivery follow-up, and payment reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales and field activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 1–3 years experience in FMCG sales, preferably in open market or field sales roles
  • Strong knowledge of Lagos market routes (Lekki–Epe axis is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Must be energetic, proactive, and result-oriented
  • Familiarity with both traditional and modern trade operations.
