Job Description

Carlson Hotel is a four-star hotel located inside Osborne Phase 2, Ikoyi with 22 rooms, swimming and a gym.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conducting routine inspections and servicing of machinery, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to prevent breakdowns.
  • Guest Room Maintenance: Fixing issues like leaky taps, broken furniture, lighting, and faulty TVs to ensure rooms are in top condition.
  • Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural issues throughout the hotel.
  • Emergency Response: Acting swiftly on maintenance requests from guests or staff to minimize disruptions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintaining fire safety equipment (alarms, extinguishers), ensuring safety standards are met, and ensuring the building complies with regulations.
  • Property Upkeep: Maintaining the building exterior, landscaping, swimming pool, and parking areas (curb appeal).
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assisting with or overseeing third-party specialists for major repairs or specialized maintenance.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 years experience.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
