Just Recruitment Agency – Our client is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Live-in Chef (Male)

Location: VGC Estate (Before Ajah Bus Stop), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Days & Hours: From 5:00am (Breakfast by 7:00am; Dinner by 6:30pm), Off Day: Thursday

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced male Live-In Chef to prepare quality meals for a private family.
  • The ideal candidate must be male, proficient in both continental and local cuisines,punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and efficient kitchen management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily meals for the family, including breakfast and dinner.
  • Ensure breakfast is served by 7:00am and dinner by 6:30pm.
  • Resume kitchen duties from 5:00am daily.
  • Plan menus in line with the family’s preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the kitchen.
  • Ensure proper food storage and minimize food wastage.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Gender: Male
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years professional cooking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of continental and local dishes (non-negotiable).
  • Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities efficiently.
  • Must be reliable, disciplined, and respectful.
