We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: French Tutor Nanny

Location: Oniru, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated and qualified French-Speaking Tutor/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and structured early education to a young child within a private household.
  • The successful candidate will serve as a trusted and consistent presence in the child’s daily life while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver age-appropriate lessons for a child.
  • Teach foundational French language skills, including spoken conversation, basic grammar, and French vocabulary.
  • Engage the child in singing nursery rhymes in both English and French.
  • Use interactive and play-based methods to make learning enjoyable, stimulating, and appropriate for the child’s developmental stage.
  • Adapt the daily routine as required to accommodate the child’s mood, energy levels, and developmental progress.
  • Provide regular updates to the parents regarding the child’s progress, behaviour, and development.
  • Supervise the child’s safety and well-being at all times during designated care hours.
  • Assist with meals, hygiene routines, and age-appropriate personal care as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family’s personal information, household affairs, and the child’s details at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A degree or professional qualification in Education, Early Childhood Development, Languages, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated fluency in French (spoken and written) is required.
  • Must be a female.
  • Experience in a tutoring, teaching, nannying, or childcare role, preferably within a private household or early years setting.
  • Proven ability to teach core early learning subjects, including numbers, English reading and comprehension, French language, and literature.
  • Excellent command of both English and French with clear verbal communication skills.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
