Job Title: Deputy Station Manager
Location: Abia
Job Description
- We are looking for a Deputy Station Manager- Female who will support the Station in overseeing the daily operations of the station.
- The role ensures efficient service delivery, sales growth, compliance with operational standards, and effective supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily station operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Monitor fuel dispensing, product availability, and service standards
- Ensure pumps, POS systems, and equipment are functional at all times
- Supervise opening and closing procedures
- Support the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Monitor sales trends and recommend strategies to improve revenue
- Promote lubricant and other non-fuel product sales
- Ensure proper pricing and display of products
- Supervise cashiers, pump attendants, and other station staff
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage
- Train, coach, and motivate team members
- Enforce discipline and adherence to company policies
- Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate reconciliation
- Verify daily sales reports and deposits.
- Monitor for discrepancies and investigate variances.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of HND / BSc in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in retail operations (oil & gas experience preferred)
- Prior supervisory experience is an added advantage.
