Job Title: Accounting / Finance Officer

About the Role
- TransactEase is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant to support our growing Cross-border payments and FX operations.
- This role requires strong reconciliation skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multi-currency transactions in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, wallets, and transaction ledgers
- Monitor and reconcile FX and cross-border payment transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, PAYE)
- Manage payables and receivables processes
- Support audits and regulatory reporting
- Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions
- Monitor revenue trends and financial performance
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience (fintech, banking, or financial services preferred)
- Strong reconciliation and reporting experience
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills
- ICAN/ACCA (completed or in progress is an advantage)
Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 monthly.
