We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account / Finance Officer

Location: Ajah, Lagos  
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated account/finance officer to manage our financial records, transactions, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial management and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Track expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (only First Class and Second Class Upper (2:1) graduates will be considered)
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, tax laws, and regulations
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
