Established in 2009, Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a hospitality consultancy firm specializing in providing expert services to small and medium-sized hotels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper 

Location: Ota-ogun, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene throughout guest rooms and public areas of the hotel.
  • The role ensures that guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
  • Clean bathrooms, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Ensure all rooms are properly arranged and ready for occupancy.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to management.
  • Replenish room supplies and housekeeping materials as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, stairways, and other public areas.
  • Follow established health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.
  • Ensure housekeeping equipment and supplies are properly used and stored.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, guest house, or hospitality establishment is an added advantage.
  • Training in housekeeping operations will be an added advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and housekeeping procedures.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards.
  • Teamwork and cooperation skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
