The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is the leading private sector group in Nigeria, established to promote and protect trade and industry.Founded in 1888 and incorporated in 1950, it represents the interests of the business community in Lagos and beyond, advocating for policies that support trade, industry, commerce, and agriculture.The LCCI also provides business development services, training, and information to its members.

Job Description

  • The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Nigeria’s foremost private sector advocacy and business support organization, invites applications from energetic, persuasive, and result-oriented individuals to join the Sales and Canvassing Team for the Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) 2026, the largest international trade exhibition in West Africa.
  • This engagement provides a unique opportunity for driven individuals to contribute to one of Africa’s most prominent trade exhibitions while developing practical experience in sales, marketing, and business networking.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Marketing exhibition spaces and participation opportunities for the Lagos International Trade Fair 2026.
  • Identifying and engaging potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Promoting the benefits of participation in the Trade Fair to businesses and organizations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective exhibitors and stakeholders.
  • Achieving assigned sales and canvassing targets.
  • Providing timely follow-up with prospective clients to secure commitments.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns through direct sales, phone outreach, and digital platforms.
  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, prospects, and confirmed exhibitors.
  • Representing LCCI professionally in all interactions with stakeholders.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:

  • Minimum of SSCE but mature and experienced, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, canvassing, business development, or customer engagement will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion.
  • Good use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation.
