Job Title: Interior Designer (Furniture Showroom)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Reports To: Showroom Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to design and style our showroom displays, creating an engaging and immersive customer experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in showcasing our furniture collections in a visually compelling way that drives sales and strengthens our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and style showroom displays to effectively highlight furniture features and aesthetics
  • Plan and execute showroom layouts to optimize space utilization and maximize sales potential
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and market trends
  • Source and procure props, accessories, and display materials
  • Maintain high showroom standards, ensuring displays are clean, appealing, and regularly updated
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with design-related inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Interior Design or a related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in interior design, preferably in a retail or showroom environment
  • Strong design, styling, and visual merchandising skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in furniture design or retail sales
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
