DRI analyses various organisational problems, develops improvement plans, deploys those plans and monitors the plans to ensure improved organisational performance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Reports to: Executive Management
Direct Reports: Department Heads (Operations, Kitchen, Bar, Marketing, Security, Finance)

Main Functions

  • The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the business.
  • The role ensures profitability, efficient operations, high service standards, and alignment with the organization’s vision and goals.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, revenue, and profitability.
  • Supervise, support, and evaluate department heads and staff performance.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and service delivery standards.
  • Establish and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Identify business opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields
  • MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience in management, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle business is highly preferred.
