We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer

Location: Obanikoro, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to support the maintenance and operation of electrical systems in a nylon bag manufacturing company.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring all machinery and electrical components function efficiently to minimize downtime and support production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and machinery
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines such as extrusion, cutting, and sealing machines
  • Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues and improving machine efficiency
  • Monitor electrical panels, wiring, and control systems to ensure safe operation
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to reduce production downtime.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of industrial machines used in nylon/plastics production is an advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and read technical diagrams
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance practices
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
