We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Staff

Location: Okija, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • A Farm Manager at Ados Farms is responsible for overseeing all daily farm operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and animal welfare. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date farm records covering feeding schedules, growth performance, breeding activities, medication, and mortality rates to support informed decision-making.
  • The role involves supervising daily farm tasks such as feeding, cleaning, housing management, and general animal care, while ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and biosecurity standards. Monitoring animal health is critical, including administering medications, coordinating vaccinations, and identifying early signs of disease for prompt intervention.
  • The Farm Manager also oversees breeding and fattening programs to optimize production outcomes, ensuring proper selection and management of livestock.
  • In addition, responsibility extends to managing the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) production unit, including larvae cultivation, waste conversion processes, and integration of BSF as a sustainable protein source in animal feed.
  • Other duties include staff supervision, task coordination, inventory management, and ensuring the availability of feed, equipment, and supplies.
  • The Farm Manager is expected to maintain operational discipline, improve farm processes, and support the overall growth and sustainability of all farm activities.

Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 per month.
