Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Excel, experience with reconciliations, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle financial transactions related to our distributorship business with key suppliers (Flour Mills of Nigeria, Dangote Sugar, Dufil).
- Perform monthly reconciliations and balance sheet management.
- Prepare and manage financial reports to ensure timely and accurate delivery to management.
- Lead accounting functions without supervision, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership skills.
- Monitor and track inventory and sales transactions to ensure accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a distributorship or similar industry.
- Basic knowledge of Excel for financial analysis and reconciliations.
- Strong ability to work independently and lead teams with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
