Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Trainee to support our pharmacy operations on Victoria Island. The role offers hands-on training in dispensing, inventory management, customer service, and pharmaceutical care under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
- Receive, check, and store pharmaceutical products following proper procedures
- Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels/expiry dates
- Attend to customer enquiries and provide basic drug information (under supervision)
- Label medications and prepare prescriptions for verification
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace
- Support in documentation, filing, and daily operational tasks
- Adhere to pharmacy laws, ethics, and safety guidelines
Requirements
- B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or OND/HND in Pharmacy Technology
- Good knowledge of common drugs, dosage forms, and basic pharmacology
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
