Job Summary

  • CasaLavoro Limited is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of IT with strong full stack development expertise to lead the organization’s technology function.
  • This role combines technical leadership and hands-on development, requiring a professional who can design, build, and oversee scalable systems while managing IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure that all technology solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
IT Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring operational efficiency and high performance.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, and digital platforms across the organization.

Software Development (Full Stack):

  • Architect, design, and develop end-to-end applications across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Write and review clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Build and maintain responsive user interfaces and robust backend services.
  • Make key decisions on system architecture and technology stack.

Systems & Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance optimization.
  • Oversee deployment pipelines, hosting environments, and system integrations.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing systems.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
  • Ensure data protection, system integrity, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Collaboration & Business Support
  • Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that support operations and growth.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years experience in software development, with strong full stack expertise.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory IT role.
  • Proven ability to design and manage scalable systems and applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or similar frameworks).
  • Strong experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment pipelines, and system architecture.
  • Strong understanding of application security and best practices.
