Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing fintech team in Yaba, specializing in cryptocurrency trading, gift card redemption, and digital payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, invoices, and expenses.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial reports to provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and basic accounting functions.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and bookkeeping principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Proximity to Yaba is an added advantage.
