We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Facility Cleaner
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time with kennel duties
Key Responsibilities
Facility Cleaning Duties:
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming clinic environment.
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors, surfaces, waiting areas, and bathrooms.
- Clean and restock the reception area, consult rooms, and staff spaces.
- Ensure bins are emptied and proper waste disposal practices are followed.
- Report any maintenance needs promptly.
Kennel Handling Duties:
- Assist with feeding, cleaning, and general care of boarding pets.
- Clean kennels, cages, litter boxes, and pet bedding.
- Support veterinary staff with safe and gentle animal handling.
- Observe and report any unusual behaviour, illness, or concerns.
- Help maintain overall kennel hygiene and comfort for boarded pets.
Requirements
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Must love animals and feel comfortable working around cats and dogs.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain good hygiene standards.
- Physical ability to lift light objects, bend, stand, and clean effectively.
- Prior experience in cleaning or kennel handling is an advantage but not compulsory.
- Must live within reasonable distance of Ajah for easy commute.
