We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for quality products and competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to meet store demands.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with the inventory and accounts departments to ensure proper documentation and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- And other responsibilities that comes with the job.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience or similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- For Owerri residents only.
Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 monthly.
